The aim of setting up some entry criteria is to ensure a good admissions process for the applicant so that you achieve whatever career aspirations you may have
All applicants must meet the admission criteria below:- Management potential, ambitions and drive
- At least three years of relevant work experience
- A bachelor's degree (exemptions may be allowed).
- English language skills (oral understanding and a high degree of written command - which is tested at the admissions interview).
- Support from the student's employer in terms of time and commitments.
- The company's support, not only in terms of time, but also in terms of willingness to make suitable projects available to the student.
Applicants often initially meet informally with someone from the program management.
During this discussion, the applicants receive sufficient information to assess whether a formal application can be approved or not.
Applicants must submit a written application package as the first step toward applying for admission to the Executive MBA program. Once the application package is received, the MBA director will schedule an admissions interview.
The admissions committee is chaired by the executive dean and consists of the executive dean, the MBA director and the program director. In special cases, the honorary dean, who is also chairman of the academic council, will also be consulted. The Admissions Committee meets every three months and also holds virtual meetings to decide on applications from potential Executive MBA students.
