How much time should I spend on each subject?

On average, all subjects on AVT's programs are estimated to take approx 10-12 hours per week - all inclusive.

A general rule of thumb is that, on average, you should use approx. 10-12 hours a week on an MBA study at AVT. This average hourly rate is a combination of both preparation time before the workshop with the professor, attendance at the workshop itself and assignment writing for your own organization after the subject's workshop days.

The number of hours can, of course, vary depending on ambitions and expertise, as well as the degree to which the subject in question merges with other tasks that are high on your agenda. Likewise, the time consumption can also vary depending on whether you are in the reading or writing phase.

All subjects are designed so that you can participate without having professional knowledge of the topic before you start the subject. For example, it does not require skills in economics and finance to be able to participate and learn a lot from the subject 'Financial Management'. The most important thing is that you want to learn to speak and understand "the language of the CFO".

All workshops are held on 2-3 consecutive weekdays. A course takes place over a period of approx. 2 months from when you receive your preparation material until you have participated in the workshop until you subsequently have approx. four weeks to write the subject's final assignment.
